Summer Camps

This year we will be organising 4 summer camps for kids and teenagers! Two of them will be organised by the team of the ”Boomerang - What goes around comes around” project, and will be on the theme of #stopbullying, and the other two will be organised by the team of “LOVE Actually!” project and will be on the theme of #comprehensivesexualeducation. Our European Solidarity Corps volunteers are preparing for each camp the non-formal education programme that will include 5 days full of activities, learning, games and fun. The information delivered is taken from reliable sources and is age appropriate on all topics included.

In 2020 we organised two summer camps for kids. The first one was called “Fly, Fly Butterfly!” on the theme of environment protection and ecology, and was organised by the volunteers of “S.O.S. Sighişoara Renaşte” long term project. During the 5 days, kids aged 7 to 9 learned about topics like carbon footprint, recycling, and many more. The second summer camp was called “Choose your path!”, on the theme of #stopbullying, and was organised by the volunteers of “PLUS - Make a difference”. During the 5 days of summer camp, the 10 to 13 year olds learned about topics like roles in bullying, types of bullying and how to deal with it. The topics were taught through non-formal education methods such as creative workshops, experience sharing, games and fun activities.
