Halloween

Every Halloween we would organize something together with our volunteers for children, to have a reason to get together and have fun in a constructive way, with games, showing off our costumes and our pumpkins and parading in the Citadel. In 2020, to make sure we are all staying safe, we celebrated virtually, and the whole week before October 31st our volunteers made short videos with fun costumes, scary makeup ideas and spooky pumpkins but also yummy autumn themed recipes. We then organized an online competition for kids and for teenagers that took place on our Facebook page. The contestants would have to make a special costume and a carved pumpkin, take a picture and leave it in the comments of our post. Based on creativity, eco-friendlines and support shown in number of likes we were happy to have 4 winners who got surprise prizes.We also published on our Youtube Channel a short fun and scary movie, produced completely by our amazing and talented volunteers, which you can watch by clicking the link below.
