Asociatia AUM started implementing a new project called “Colinele Transilvaniei de la cultură la natură” (EN: Transylvania Highlands from culture to nature), in partnership with Fundaţia ADEPT Transilvania, Asociaţia Mioritics and Colinele Transilvaniei. The project is funded by Fundaţia pentru Parteneriat and MOL România, and will be taking place for 6 months, between May and October 2021. The project aims to raise awareness and involve the local community in getting to know their natural and cultural heritage as well as in preserving and promoting the protected area of Sighişoara - Târnava Mare. The region that includes the protected area of Sighişoara - Târnava Mare is unique in Europe due to its biodiversity and mosaic-like landscapes.

LOVE Actually! 2021

February - July 2021

The second stage of LOVE Actually! is taking place between February and July 2021 and is being organized by a team of 8 national and international European Solidarity Corps volunteers. The theme is sexual education (sexual health and harmonious relationships) and is targeting the young people of Sighişoara. Our volunteers have been trained on this topic by specialists of ARAS România in all topics related to sexual education as well as on teenager brain development and risk behavior, conflict management and assertive communication.

Boomerang 2021

January - July 2021

The second stage of " Boomerang - What comes around goes around" is taking place between January and July 2021 and is being organized by a team of 10 national and international European Solidarity Corps volunteers. The theme is anti-bullying and is targeting the young people of Sighişoara. Our volunteers have been trained on this topic by Cristina Fierbinţeanu, psychologist and coordinator or ARAS România in topics related to teenager brain development and risk behavior, conflict management and assertive communication.

Boomerang 2020

August - September 2020

The first stage of the European Solidarity Corps project "Boomerang - What goes around comes around" was short-term and it was implemented by 12 volunteers. The project took place between August and September 2020 and it had the theme of anti-bullying. During this project our volunteers organized an online and offline campaign called "Ai curajul să fii bun!" to raise awareness and educate on the phenomenon of bullying, named "Ai curajul să fii bun!". The campaign targeted young people, mainly gymnasium students and highschool students.

LOVE Actually! 2020

October - December 2020

The first stage of the European Solidarity Corps project LOVE Actually! was short-term and it was implemented by 15 volunteers. The project took place between October and December 2020 and it had the theme of healthy lifestyle. Because of the restrictions that the pandemic imposed, the project's activities and schedule were adapted and moved mainly online. During the project we conducted research within the Sighişoara community for youngsters and adults to find out the knowledge and opinion people have on the topic of sexual education. Internally, our volunteers had specialized training on the same topic and learned about the laws related to it. Throughout "November - the month of solidarity for health" we organized an online public health campaign divided into four main topics: hygiene, nutrition, sexual education and mental health.
