The project provided to a group of 34 youth workers a toolkit of the method which can be experimented with and adapted to individual and organizational needs. A more participatory approach can be adopted by the partner associations as a result of this project and will ensure that their youth workers will listen to actual young people's needs without making assumptions.
This will increase the participation of young people in shaping the activities and services they use, ensuring that they address their real needs in ways that are relatable to young generations. In practice, it means that youth workers will be able to give young people more responsibility for the equipment, the office, the messages communicated by web radio and online social media created content. In Romania, at the national level, the project was an opportunity to raise awareness of other organizations about a low budget web radio and another type of teaching tool, impact that was confirmed by the fact that 2 associations asked our team to disseminate with them the project and the results what we already proudly did. We can’t say that we actually had an impact with our project at European or international level because it will not be realistic, but we can say that we gave an example and maybe we created a precedent and the youth associations will focus more in the future on what web radio means, how a podcast can be useful or how fast a message is reaching the young generation through social media.
