Back in 2018, Alexandra and Florentina built Asociatia AUM with the vision of helping the Sighisoara community grow and develop in order to help our town become even more beautiful than it already was. Since then they have successfully implemented different projects through the European Solidarity Corps with the goal of addressing certain needs and issues faced by the community.
Mainly, the themes of our projects so far were education for a healthy lifestyle, environment protection and ecology, diminishing bullying and comprehensive sexual education. In organising our non-formal education programmes we worked, in the past three years, with over 100 national and international volunteers who were also involved in various socio-cultural initiatives and events organised by Sighisoara locals.
So, it is our third birthday! And how else would we celebrate other than together with the community? Since everyday in which we are able to grow and do beautiful things for the people in Sighisoara is a present for us, we thought we also want to give presents to the people. We organised a little contest and on June 21st, with the help of random.org we will be announcing the happy winners. You can find more details about this on our Facebook page.
